1. Who we are
PlugLaw is a product brand of LawCrust Global Consulting Ltd (CIN U69100MH2023PLC413428), referred to in this policy as "PlugLaw," "we," "us," or "our." This policy explains what information we collect through https://pluglaw.com and our service engagements, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have in relation to it.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us, name, email, phone, firm name and location, team size, budget range, practice areas, and the message you submit through our inquiry forms.
- Information from your use of the site, page-view logs, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type. Used in aggregate for analytics and abuse prevention.
- Information from our engagement, once you become a client, additional information you share in the course of delivering ClientACQ, FirmReach+ or People+Plan (e.g. firm-strategy documents, candidate CVs).
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a discovery call.
- To deliver the services you have engaged us for.
- To send service-related updates and, with your consent, occasional newsletters.
- To improve the website, our services, and our internal operations.
- To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
4. Lawful basis
Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form), the performance of a contract (when we deliver services to you), or our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Our parent group, LawCrust Global Consulting Ltd, for joint service delivery and back-office operations.
- Service providers we rely on to operate (hosting, email, analytics) under contractual confidentiality terms.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
6. Storage and retention
Inquiry data is stored in a managed database hosted in the European Union. We retain inquiry records for up to 24 months after the last interaction unless a longer period is required to deliver services or to comply with law. Engagement records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax regulations.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party page-view logging only. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies. We may use essential cookies necessary for the site's operation.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiry@pluglaw.com with the subject line "Privacy request".
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit, restricted access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if you become aware of a vulnerability, please report it to inquiry@pluglaw.com.
10. Children
PlugLaw is a B2B service for law firms and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the site or email where appropriate.
